Alabama wide receiver adds SEC offer

Jeremy Richardson, wide receiver from Springville, Ala., continues to collect scholarship offers. An SEC school is the latest to throw their name into the ring while another SEC program has returned to the recruiting scene for Richardson's signature.

"I have an offer from Tennessee," said Jeremy Richardson. "They offered me about two weeks ago. I felt real, real good about the offer. It's great to get another SEC school. I haven't visited yet. I was going to go for Junior Day, but the weather was too bad."

"I am supposed to be going to Auburn this weekend. I like pretty much everything about Auburn. They haven't really showed me around down there. I went to a camp and to a game, but didn't have time to tour everything. I like it down there and want to see everything they have to offer."

"I have talked to coach [Curtis] Luper and another coach. I have talked to coach Luper several times. I haven't met him yet. They send me handwritten letters all the time. They have said they can't wait to see me down there this weekend. I am ready to meet them."

A decision was expected in the near future, but the increased interest from several schools is pushing back the timeline.

"I will probably wait a little bit longer," Richardson said. "Auburn stopped sending me letters and stopped talking to me, but now they are starting back talking to me."

"Now Florida is coming on strong. They are showing me more stuff. It's getting pretty hard."

"It's pretty open right now. I am open to all SEC schools and all the schools up north. I would say it's between Alabama and Auburn as far as who is sending me the most stuff right now. I know Tennessee has been trying to get in contact with me as well."

Richardson is holding scholarship offers from Alabama, Auburn, LSU and Tennessee.
