Coming Soon to UCF

It might be a little overcast on campus, but that won't squander anyone's mood as there are plenty of coaches that will be upbeat by the end of the weekend. UCF plans to have its first scrimmage this Saturday, but even before it begins some very talented recruits will be on campus to get a look at the school.

Christian Jones, a four-star linebacker from Lake Howell (Fla.), is already on campus as of Friday morning. Jones has offers from Alabama, UF, FSU, Miami, Oklahoma, USC and UCF. Getting a guy like Jones on campus is huge for the Knights, as that is the first step to getting blue-chip players to commit.

The Knights are also expected to host local gun-slinger Blake Bortles. The Oviedo quarterback was not able to attend Jr. Day in its entirety last month, but he was on-campus last weekend and should be here again.

Toby Durham received his first offer from UCF earlier this year and now has another one from Colorado State. Durham will also get a look at the school right in his back-yard. The Seminole H.S. (Fla.) athlete is being recruited as a receiver for the Knights, but has more experience as of now at running back. Tyrone Bouie, Durham's teammate, will also be making a quick trip to UCF.
