SHORT REPORT: Wounded Knee

Penn State senior left tackle Nerraw McCormack has been knocked out of spring drills by an injury. Get the lowdown on the issue here.

Penn State senior left tackle Nerraw McCormack is sidelined indefinitely with a sprained knee, according to multiple team sources.

The good news is that preliminary reports suggest the injury is not a torn ligament. The bad news is it is not clear exactly when McCormack might return to action.

The injury occurred in Monday's practice.

This spring, McCormack has been battling with sophomore DeOn'Tae Pannell for the starting left tackle job vacated by the graduation of Gerald Cadogan. At the Coaches Clinic Scrimmage Saturday, Pannell took first-team reps and McCormack ran with the second team.

The third-team left tackle was redshirt freshman Andrew Radakovich.

Stay tuned for more details as they become available.
