Louis Excelling on Both Sides of the Ball

James Louis from Delray Beach (FL) Atlantic Community High School is one of the top two-way players in the Southeast. Some schools like Florida have offered as a wide receiver. Others, like Florida State have offered as a defensive back. It's on the offensive side of the ball where Louis wants to excel at the next level but for right now he is playing both ways.

"Spring football is going good right now and on both sides of the ball we look real good," James Louis said. "I am playing wide receiver and safety right now. Over 20 schools have been to see us practice so far this spring."

Every game is a big game at that level but two in particular have caught his eye this year.

"To me there are two games that I am looking forward to playing - Pahokee and Dwyer. Those two I am looking forward to."

At times last season Atlantic lost focus of the goal at hand and that won't be a problem this year if Louis has anything to say about it.

"This year I have been a leader on and off the field. I refuse to let my teammates slack off. That's the one big problem we had at times last season we did not have any leaders."

His summer plans have yet to be determined but he will camp at both Minnesota and Central Florida for sure.
