Florida QB lands first offer

Ryan Williams is a talented quarterback from Miramar High in south Florida and he just picked up his first scholarship offer.

Ryan Williams put his name on the recruiting map with a strong junior season in 2008 at American Heritage. He threw for 1,063 yards, nine touchdowns, and six picks. He's since transferred to Miramar High and picked up his first offer.

"I just got offered by FIU," Williams said. "I've been talking to a lot of other schools but I'm just trying to keep my options open to everyone right now."

Williams, 6-foot-4 and 215 pounds, was one of the standout quarterbacks at the Scout Combine in Miami back in late March.

Inside the classroom, Williams claims a 3.6 GPA and hasn't reported a test score yet.
