Encino (Calif.) Crespi quarterback Bryan Bennett hit the road this week to take in some unofficial visits.

On Monday, Bennett was in Blue Turf country when he visited Boise State.

"It was really nice," said Bennett. "The coaches are great and it's a cool place."

On Tuesday, Bennett's unofficial visit netted him an offer, his first from the Pac-10.

Bennett visited Oregon, and when he left, he called head coach Chip Kelly.

"I called Coach Kelly after we left and he offered," said Bennett. "I talked pretty much with all of the coaches but mainly Coach Kelly and Coach (Mark) Helfrich".

It was Bennett's first visit to Oregon, and it left a big impression.

"That place is ridiculous," said Bennett. "I loved it."

On Wednesday morning, Bennett called Boise State to follow up.

"Boise State offered me," said Bennett.

Bennett didn't make a commitment, though, and he's still got another unofficial visit to make.

"I liked Oregon a lot, but I still have to go out and visit Pitt (who's also offered), then we'll see what happens," said Bennett.

The Broncos and Ducks join offers from Pitt, New Mexico State, Utah State and Wyoming.

During his 2008 junior season at Crespi, Bennett was 108-for-195 for 1,622 yards and threw 10 touchdown passes and ran for 193 yards on 49 carries, with three touchdowns. His sophomore year saw him lead Crespi to the Serra League title and the finals of the CIF-SS Pac-5 playoffs and he threw for 2,133 yards and 17 touchdowns.
