Furman Back from Gainesville

Millersville (MD) Old Mill Senior High School superstar Josh Furman arrived in Gainesville with his coach Sunday at 2:00 p.m. Furman is a 6-2, 190-pound multi-purpose athlete that could wind up at linebacker, safety or even corner at the next level. He has incredible athletic ability with a 4.37 40-yard dash, 4.41 short shuttle, 10"1' standing broad jump and 40-inch vertical leap.

While many Gator fans weren't aware of who Josh Furman was before the visit they should all be aware of him after the visit. He is an athletic freak. A player that could end up at a number of different positions at the next level the Gators might have one in mind.

"It was amazing," Furman said. "I had a chance to spend some time with head coach Urban Meyer before I left and that was great to talk to him. Coach Meyer told me that I am a great player and he sees me at the SAM Linebacker spot at the next level. Coach White told me to call him in a couple days and when I do I hope they made the decision to offer."
