Joe Lofton grabs first
"I just returned from a camp at Troy," said Joe Lofton. "The camp went really good for me. They offered me a scholarship. They were the first school to offer me. I felt really good to finally get one."
"It was a three day camp. Like right before practice was over my position coach, whom I think is the defensive coordinator [Jeremy Rowell], asked to talk to me before I left. He offered me then."
Lofton talked about Troy's camp and the warm weather in the deep South.
"The camp was pretty fun," he said. "I had a good time up there. It was real hot out there. My position coach [Rowell] was real cool. He was the one who offered me."
"I like the campus, but I haven't really kept up with the football program. I am going to look into it more before I decide."
Lofton's next stop is a camp at USF.
