Williams is in Demand

Eric Williams busted out at the New Level Athletics 7-on-7 tournament at Rutgers this year and ever since then, his stock has been rising camp by camp. The Fairless Hills, Pa., product is now up to six scholarship offers, but he doesn't expect that to be the end of things.

Pennsbury High School doesn't throw the ball very much, however they have an absolutely excellent athlete in Eric Williams that could turn out to be a great college player at the wide receiver position. He recently picked up a few more offers and while he has no idea when he'll pick his school, he did talk a bit about his offers with us this weekend.

"I have offers from Akron, Pittsburgh, Kent State, Syracuse, Temple and Vanderbilt right now," Williams said. "I don't necessarily have any favorites yet. I'm just waiting to talk to my parents so we can come to a decision later on here."

"I like Pittsburgh a lot," Williams stated. "Head Coach Dave Wannstedt came from the NFL, so he obviously has great experience and is a good coach. I love the school because the campus is really nice and I like the urban feel with it being in the city."

"I haven't been to any of the other schools yet, so I don't have a whole lot to say about them really," Williams explained. "I couldn't make it up to Boston College to try and get an offer from them, but I do hope they offer me. It's hard to fit a road trip in to get up there with my parents' work schedule, but we'll try and get up there if possible."

Williams has set no time table on when he'd like to make a decision by, so there is still time for him to pick up new offers and do some research.
