Furman Looking for New Attention

Josh Furman has plenty of offers right now and likes some of those schools, but he has always mentioned LSU as a favorite and is also suddenly intrigued by another school from the South.

Old Mill High School athlete Josh Furman is being recruited at linebacker, running back and safety, however he knows that the prospects of him playing at that linebacker position are pretty certain. He told us on Monday that while he likes all of his offers, he's hoping to hear from one school in particular.

"I'm just enjoying my summer since I got back from Penn State camp," Furman said. "I'm starting summer school tomorrow to get my grades up some more and have just been researching schools a bit. I may go out to visit Michigan soon for my last unofficial, but we haven't gotten that definite yet."

"Right now I really want to hear from Miami more," Furman explained. "I was talking to one of their commitments Javarie Johnson and he got me really excited about their school and program, so I'm going to send them down my film as soon as I get a chance."

"I'd say the schools I've been looking at most seriously recently are Michigan, who has been recruiting me really heavy, Maryland and Virginia Tech."
