"I called coach (Aubrey) Hill (wide receivers) this morning at about 10:00 and told him I was committing," Morris said. "He passed me over to coach (Randy) Shannon. Coach Shannon was extremely happy and welcomed me to the Miami family. We'll meet in a couple of weeks.
"Miami just felt like the perfect place for me," he said. "It fit me both academically and athletically. I'm 100% committed. I'm sure I made the right decision. I'm pretty solid. I just saw no point in waiting any longer.
"I'll officially visit Miami but I don't have a date set," Morris said. "I don't think I'll visit any other schools and I've told them all that I'm going to Miami.
Morris reports a 3.5 core GPA and a 900 SAT. "I'm qualified," he said.
