Planning Visits

Midland "Top 200" wide receiver Jordan Leslie of Tomball High School has seven offers. However, at this point in time, Leslie plans on taking only two official visits. Scout.com spoke to the talented wideout to find out who he planned on visiting.

"I have seven offers right now. They are Arizona, UTEP, Houston, Louisiana Tech, Buffalo, Tulsa, and Dartmouth. But, I only plan on visiting Arizona and UTEP right now" said Jordan Leslie.

What was it about those schools that made Leslie want to visit?

"I talk to the coaches at Arizona a lot. I feel like I have a good relationship with them and they seem real interested in me."

"They [Arizona] recruits me pretty hard so when they asked me to come up on a visit, I told them I would come up and check everything out."

"UTEP was one of the first schools to offer me and that was an honor. They are pretty much like Arizona. They recruit me hard and have a real interest in me. I mean, I want to check out schools that are really interested in me. They also have to have good academics, play good football, have good coaches. I feel like UTEP and Arizona fit into that."

Knowing where he is going to visit is only half of the battle. Leslie must then decided where he wants to spend the next 4 years of his life.

Does Leslie have a time frame on when he will make that decision?

"I want to make my decision sometime during the season. I want to look at a few schools and then talk to my mom about what school feels right. That's when I will make my decision."
