Georgia TE likes five

Evan Wilson, two star tight end from Woodstock, Ga., is ready to update his top five programs. The 6-6 prospect is recruited heavily by a Sunbelt Conference school, and he has received a significant amount of mail from a school in the Big East.

"I'm getting some attention coming from Louisville," Evan Wilson said. "They send a lot of special stuff, some handwritten stuff, and they've invited me up for games. They're showing me a lot of interest right now."

"Florida International (offer) has been coming after me the hardest. Coach (Alex) Mirabal has been talking to me a lot. We've talked about official visits, their schedule, and stuff like that. I'm learning more about their program. I'm getting to see what they do with their tight ends and things like that."

Wilson is not ready to declare a leader at this point in time, but he does admit that Florida International is now a major player.

"Florida International isn't a leader right now," he commented. "They have moved up. I will say that. They've been coming after me aggressively."

"In no particular order, I like Vanderbilt, Purdue, N.C. State, Florida International, and Louisville."

Wilson believes his next offer will come out of the Big Ten.

"I think Purdue may be my next offer," he stated. "I'm waiting on a few other guys to see if they commit to Purdue or not. I'm just waiting. From what I've seen there's a good chance Purdue will be my next offer."

Several weeks ago Evan Wilson reported to, "Purdue would be at a high interest (level) if they offered."
