Tuscaloosa hosting elite group of stars

The University of Alabama will host numerous unofficial visitors and less than a handful of official visitors who are eager to see the Tide and Volunteers play Saturday afternoon for the nationally televised SEC game. Read more of who has planned to arrive in Tuscaloosa.




Alabama will host several Tide commitments as unofficial visitors and two Tide commitments as official visitors: Deion Belue, Brent Calloway, Harrison Jones, Keiwone Malone, Demarcus Milliner, Brian Vogler and Jarrick Williams.

Five-star quarterback Phillip Sims and four-star defensive end Alfy Hill are in Tuscaloosa as Tide commitments and official visitors.

Hot Prospects class of 2010:
Shon Coleman, Damion Robinson, and Eric Lawson (Olive Branch); Quinterrius Eatmon (Vigor), Demetrae Griffin (Speake) and Lonnie Ballentine (Memphis-Southwind).

Michael Harris, from El Camino Junior College, is in Tuscaloosa as an official visitor.

Hot Prospects class of 2011:
Walt Dantzler (Dalton, Ga.), Blake Dees (Spanish Fort), Dedrick Forsythe (Leeds), Jaren Jackson (T.R. Miller), Emmanuel Johnson (McKenzie), Antonio Marsh (Blount), Pat Milliner (Stanhope Elmore), Chris Nelson and Darien Thomas (Theodore), Jabrian Niles (Davidson), Patrick Prewitt (Vestavia Hills), Spencer Region (Cullman), Dallas Tidwell (Gardendale) and Danny Woodson (LeFlore).

Hot Prospects class of 2012:
Jameis Winston (Hueytown), Reggie Ragland (Bob Jones), Nathan Cole (Memphis-Mitchell), and Chris Casher (Faith Academy).

This is not a complete list of the prospects who are expected in Tuscaloosa, but a few noted "hot prospects" who confirmed in the last couple of weeks of their attendance.
