Los Angeles (Calif.) Pierce offensive tackle Jordan Allred, one of the top JC OL's in the Southland, landed his first offer on Tuesday.

"Jordan got an official offer yesterday from Georgia State and was invited to visit a couple of schools in November," said his father, Dan.

Allred had an offer from Central Connecticut State coming out of Thousand Oaks (Calif.), as a longsnapper, but chose the JC route where he could play on the offensive line.

Georgia State will begin playing next fall as a I-AA program, but is already practicing this fall as a varsity program.
