Florida RB ready for visits

Read on for the latest update on Miami Northwestern RB Corvin Lamb.

Corvin Lamb was hoping to take an official visit this weekend but now it's on hold.

"I was setting up a visit with North Carolina because they are playing Miami and that will be a big game," Lamb said. "I'm not sure when I'll be going."

Lamb, 5-foot-9 and 190 pounds, said he still hears from several major college programs on a regular basis.

"I've been talking to coaches at North Carolina, Mississippi State, Florida, Nebraska, and Ole Miss," he said.

The talented RB prospect said one school stands out above the rest.

"I am liking N.C. right now. They are looking for a big time running back to come in and I am willing to be that guy."

So what will Lamb be looking for in choosing a school?

"Academics," he said. "I am not scared to start as a true freshman."

Lamb has helped his Northwestern team to another district title.

"My senior year is going good. Football is good. We are doing good as a team."

Inside the classroom Lamb claims a 2.8 GPA.
