Stripling is one of the top rush ends in the country and he has been committed to the University of Georgia since early August.
The 6-foot-6, 215 pound end is still being recruited by a number of programs. He has mentioned Florida, Ohio State, and Tennessee as the main ones involved and Georgia Tech has just tried to join the mix with an offer.
The UGA commitment talked with Scout about his commitment, how strong it is to the Bulldogs, if anything could change his mind, and more right here.
You can watch the interview here and see exactly what Stripling said.
If you were unable to watch the interview at this time, here are just a few of the quotes from Stripling…
"I have 20 sacks now and I need 27 to tie Jermaine Cunningham's record [in Dekalb County]."
"It is possible – I have five more games left and I am going to break it. I talk to him all of the time and he tells me that I am not going to do it, but I am getting close."
"I have grown up a lot since last year. I was more of a speed rusher last year and now I am using my hands more. I have grown up more than anything really."
"I am still with Georgia 100 percent right now. I am looking at some other schools, but I am just traveling really."
"I am really not sure what would change my mind right now. Right now I can't tell what would change my mind."
"Their record does not affect my decision at all."
"Tennessee, Florida, and Ohio State and I will probably give Miami a chance. That might be one of my visits too."
"Georgia's fan base is great. Even with the losses to Tennessee and Florida, the fans still come out and support them."
