Q&A with Matt Bosher

Read on to see what kicker Matt Bosher is saying just before Saturday's game against USF.

On playing at Miami:
It's a great school, a great city, and I'm happy to be here.

On improvement:
I believe we can definitely improve from here. This team's growing. Coach Shannon's done a great job getting the best players in the country here. I can't wait to be here another year.

On USF:
We need to focus on USF. They've played a lot of hard teams and they're gonna give us a hard fight. Hopefully we go out and play well.

On USF players getting up for the game:
A lot of those guys grew up Miami fans or around Miami. They know the tradition of the school. It's a privledge to play here. Everyone feels like it's a big game to play against Miami. We get everyone's A game from the biggest schools to the smallest ones.

On the direction of the program:
It starts with recruiting. They're bringing in great guys. Players contribute here their freshman year. Coach Shannon's done a good job making sure it's a family-oriented team. Everyone's frienfly with each other. There are no position cliques. Everyone is mingled together. Everyone knows their teammates.
