West USAAAB Fab Five - Day 2

SAN ANTONIO, Texas -- The West offense bounced back in a big way on Tuesday and the "Fab Five" is littered with offensive prospects after it was dominated by defensive players on Monday.

USAAAB West Fab Five - Day Two
Cassius Marsh – Defensive Tackle – 6-4/290 - Oaks Christian (Cali.) – West
Analysis: Marsh did not get a whole lot of love yesterday as some of the other defensive tackles were stepping up, but today he was just beasting. He had the hit of the day when he laid out Malcolm Jones and he also laid an impressive blow to Dillon Baxter. He was also steady in run support and was able to make a number of other plays behind the line of scrimmage.

Recruiting: Marsh is committed to LSU.

Jake Heaps - 6-2/190 - Skyline (Wa.) - West
Analysis: Heaps has had two steady practices in a row and he is the go to guy when it comes to West quarterbacks. He does not have the ideal size that every scout looks for, but you can not deny that he just gets the job done and his passes are very accurate and always catchable.

Recruiting: Heaps is committed to BYU

Ross Apo - 6-4/205 - Oakridge School (Texas) - West
Analysis: No player is blowing up like Apo. He made the days most spectacular grabs including a a diving grab where he was running and out and the ball was thrown back to the middle of the field. He also had the a terrific catch along the sideline where he was able to keep a foot in bounds to make the play. He also runs very solid routes for a player with his size.

Recruiting: Apo will play at BYU with Heaps.

Seantrel Henderson - Cretin-Derham (Minn.) - West
Analysis: Henderson showed why he is ranked as the top player in the nation and why every school would be dying to have him play for them. It took him one day to warm up and get comfortable and show he is the best player against elite HS competition. It may take him a week or two to get warmed up in college, but it would not surprise to definitely see him playing in college next year.

Recruiting: Henderson is down to USC, Notre Dame, Ohio State and Florida.

Robert Woods - 6-2/185 - Gardena Serra (Cali.) - West
Analysis: Woods just does it over and over again. Yesterday he drew comparisons to Jerry Rice for his route running ability and hands, but today he showed some special speed, and even I did not know he had an extra gear like that. Apo had some spectacular grabs, but Woods is still the most productive receiver and the West's go to guy.

Recruiting: Woods is committed to USC.
