USAAAB Tuesday Stock Report

Who's up and who's down after the second day of practices in San Antonio? The staff dishes out the second stock report of the week in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl...

East Team Stock Up:

Christian Bryant, Cleveland (Ohio) Glenville- Considering Michigan State, Ohio State and North Carolina

Bryant continues to show he's the best man coverage guy on the East squad.

Gerald Christian, West Palm Beach (Fla.) Dwyer- Committed to Florida

Was just inserted into tight end due to depth, and just excelled and looked like the best tight end on the East squad.

Victor Hampton, Darlington (S.C.)- Considering to Tennessee and South Carolina

Didn't do much on Monday, but excelled on Tuesday, particularly in the 7-on-7.

Jaylen Watkins, Cape Coral (Fla.)- Committed to Florida

The only player who's beat Kyle Prater, reason enough to put him on this list.

Christian Green, Tampa (Fla.) Tampa Catholic- Florida, Florida State, Georgia and South Florida

A high school quarterback playing wide receiver, which he'll probably play at the next level, he appears to be getting better with every repetition.

East Team Stock Down:

Martavis Bryant, Anderson (S.C.) T.L. Hanna- Committed to Clemson

The number one skill required to be a receiver is hands, and he's dropped for more passes than he has caught.

Will Hagerup, Whitefish Bay (Wisc.)- Committed to Michigan

With no pressure and no snap, he kills the ball.  When they snap or punt live, he's punted off the side of his foot and averaged only 30 yards a punt.

Matt Elam, West Palm Beach (Fla.) Dwyer- Committed to Florida State

The number one safety in the country, he just hasn't made the plays you'd expect from a player of that magnitude.

Carlos Thompson, Hollondale (Miss.) Simmons- Considering Auburn, Baylor, North Carolina, Ole Miss and Mississippi State

A four-star defensive end, and he's been very inactive the past two days.

Kelcy Quarles, Greenwood (S.C.)- Committed to South Carolina

Another four-star defensive end who's production has also been lacking

West Team Stock Up:

Reggie Wilson, Haltom City (Texas)- Committed to Texas

Struggled on Monday, having to go up against Seantrel Henderson, but today, against other players, showed marked improvement.

Cassius Marsh, Westlake Village (Calif.) Oaks Christian- Committed to LSU

Played with a high motor and had the hit of the day on his former prep teammate Malcolm Jones

Cecil Whiteside, Newport Beach (Calif.) Newport Harbor- Committed to California

Has performed the best and most consistent of all the linebackers this week.

Jake Matthews, Missouri City (Texas) Elkins- Committed to Texas A&M

Just plain nasty, Matthews seemed more comfortable playing center on Tuesday than he did on Monday and seemed to have that job locked up.

Tony Jefferson, Chula Vista (Calif.) Eastlake- Committed to Oklahoma

The coach's decision to move him to WILL linebacker was a brilliant one- he was active all afternoon, making plays.

West Team Stock Down:

Keanon Lowe, Portland (Ore.) Jesuit- Committed to Washington

Has struggled with his coverage and his foot speed, and gives up too much size to the West receivers.

Connor Wood, Houston (Texas) Second Baptist- Committed to Texas

Scrambled well, but was too sporadic with his passes, overthrowing just a little too much.

Ronald Powell, Moreno Valley (Calif.) Rancho Verde- Considering Florida and USC

One of the premier defensive ends in the country, was pretty quiet defensively and seemed disinterested in playing fullback.
