"I am solid to Stanford," said Nottingham. "It changed late last night."
Nottingham switched his commitment from UCLA, where he was committed to since June.
But he applied to Stanford and received word that he was admitted into Stanford on Friday, when he committed.
On the Farm, he'll be reunited with his former Monte Vista teammate Zach Ertz, who hosted him on his official visit this weekend.
He becomes the second quarterback commit in this class for the Cardinal, joining Dallas Lloyd from Utah, who will take an LDS mission instead of enrolling in the fall.
As a 2009 senior, Nottingham was 246-for-342 for 3,818 yards and 44 touchdowns against only six interceptions.
