With National Signing Day just over two weeks away, the recruiting picture is beginning to clear for Michigan State. After this week's recruiting visits, they'll have a clear picture of which prospects they should go hard after in hopes of landing them.

Here's a look at the players who are beginning to separate themselves from the pack:

RISERS:
Bruce Gaston, DL/OL Chicago (IL) St. Rita's Gaston earlier favored Notre Dame, but that doesn't seem to be the case anymore. MSU has really gained ground and has a real shot at landing this talented interior lineman.
Chances: 60%

Mike Dorsey, S, Warren (OH) Harding
His teammate Davion Rogers pledged Michigan, but that doesn't look like its going to stop Dorsey from looking intently at MSU. The Spartans are his favorite now and are looking to cement a commitment.
Chances: 65%

Eric Franklin, T, Youngstown (OH) Cardinal Mooney
Franklin has always liked Michigan State and they are in his final three at the right time. It looks like MSU's main competition with come from Dave Wannstadt and the Pitt Panthers. Franklin told GSN after his visit "I'm a little closer with Michigan State."
Chances: 50%

Alex Lewis, T, Phoenix (AZ) Mountain Pointe
Its down to Michigan State and UNLV with the Rebels getting the last visit after extending an offer a week ago. It all depends where Lewis stands on MSU pecking order and if players ahead of him commit first.
Chances: 45%

HOLDING STEADY:
Jerome Davis, DT, Buford, GA
Originally thought to be in the huge group visiting MSU last weekend, he is scheduled for this weekend, along with Rashad Frazier and Jeremy Langford among others. MSU is serious about Davis and it appears he is about MSU but competition is tough. Visit to Miami, West Virginia, and South Carolina remain after MSU.
Chances: 40%

Rashad Frazier, DE, Middletown, OH
Frazier is a project due to his lack of experience, having played football for just a year. He showed enough to convince several MAC schools and a few Big Ten schools - including MSU to look.
Chances: Uncertain

FALLERS:
Christian Bryant, CB Cleveland (OH) Glenville His interest is waining and he on the record with Ohio State and North Carolina being his two favorites. Not looking good.
Chances: 10%

Kenneth Kirksey, DT, Daytona Beach, FL
Kirksey claims MSU as one of his five finalist, but he hasn't visited yet and isn't sure he's going to visit. Iowa State appears to be the favorite.
Chances: 10%

Corey Cooper, S, Chicago (IL) Proviso East Cooper has taken three visits and says going to Florida State will be his last. He didn't show at Michigan St last week. It doesn't look like its going to happen.
Chances: 5%

Look for more players including some unknown names to enter the picture between now and February 3rd as coaching staff scour the nation for that hidden gem that can turn a good class into a great one.
