Florida DT names three

Read on for the latest on Springfield (Rutherford) standout DT Sean Watson.

Sean Watson is one of the top defensive tackle prospects in the Panhandle part of Florida this year and Scout caught up with him to talk about the latest on the recruiting front.

"I'm just trying to narrow it down, taking some visits," Watson said. "I'm still considering Baylor, Arkansas, and FAU. I went to Arkansas last weekend, I'm taking one to FSU this weekend, and Baylor next weekend."

Watson, 6-foot-3 and 280 pounds, talked more about his trip to SEC country last weekend.

"I really liked it," he said. "It was very nice -- somewhere I can get used to. My cousin (Darrell Smith) already committed there so that is nice, ya know. I want to take a look a few more before I decide."

The standout DT prospect talked about what he'll be looking for when choosing a school.

"Mostly all them are talking about playing time," he said. "I am mostly looking for what is right for me, I want to make sure I fit in for the next four or five years."
