"There's not one deciding factor," wrote Lowe in a text to eDuck Sports. "Me and mom just feel like that's the place for me. As a little kid I used to picture myself playing for the Ducks. I'm excited it is going to happen now."
Lowe, is being recruited as a receiver by the Ducks and played in the US Army All-American Bowl in San Antonio, Texas. Oregon's recruiting class this year has a number of prospects who played in the game. Was that a factor for Lowe?
"No it wasn't a factor," Lowe shared. "I had been thinking about this before I was in San Antonio. Although I am excited to play with Curtis (White), Dior (Mathis) and hopefully Lache (Seastrunk)."
Lowe is a player that can do it all. At Jesuit he was a receiver, running back and special teams player. He had 150 carries for 1,213 yards and 20 touchdowns. His longest run was for 73 yards (according to maxpreps.com) He also had 42 receptions for 603 yards and seven scores including a long of 82. As a kick return specialist he had 15 returns for an average of 21.2 yards. Defensively he had four interceptions last season.
Lowe was rated 3-stars as a corner back by Scout and 18th recruit to give Oregon a verbal commitment for the class of 2010.
