"It's an honor to be offered by Wisconsin. Their program is always playing in bowl games and fighting for a Big Ten championship. I know Coach Rudolph has worked the Southwest Ohio area hard the past couple of years and several players I've played against or know have made Wisconsin their college choice."
While it's too early to say if Coyne will accept the Badgers offer, its one he's going to fully checkout.
"Everything I've heard about Wisconsin excites me and I'm going to make a visit when I get the chance this spring or summer."
Coyne reports the Badgers are recruiting him as a quarterback but have also told him that he's a good enough athlete to play other positions as well.
"Coach Quinn and Coach Forest were at Cincinnati and I know what type of offense their going to run. While getting BCS offers excite me, also knowing a program like Buffalo with a wide open spread attack is someone I'll have to take a hard look at. The MAC has produced some very good quarterbacks over the years and has shown you have a chance to make it to the NFL if you do well."
With his offer list growing, Coyne is also hopeful to hear from a few other programs in the near future.
"Iowa, Purdue, Michigan State and Indiana are all programs I have interest in. I've always been very interested in Michigan State and would love to hear from them and I know that Purdue also has a wide open offensive attack."
Scout.com will continue to follow Coyne as his offer list continues to grow.
