"I have been to Ole Miss and Mississippi State in the past few weeks," said Blue. "I didn't go to junior day. I just went with my coach up there. I went to visit Ole Miss and I went to watch Mississippi State practice."
The trip to Oxford happened a few weeks back and it appears the Rebels are keeping tabs on the delta standout.
"When I went to to Ole Miss I talked to the coaches," said Cedric. "They showed me around. They showed me how they run their offense.
"They are talking about offering me a scholarship. They told me they were going to come see me during spring practice. My coach has been talking to them and he tells me what they say. I haven't talked to them on the phone yet."
Blue made the drive over to Starkville on Friday to see the Bulldogs in action on the practice field.
"I went to Mississippi State yesterday," said Cedric. "I met all the coaches, sat in on some meetings and got to see them practice. They looked real good. Everything was going good up there.
"They send me a lot of letters and they want me to come to the spring game. Melvin Smith is the one sending me all of the letters. They are talking about offering me too."
Blue is anxiously awaiting offer number one, but he is not content to simply sit by the mailbox and hope for the best. He is going to keep his act on the road to show college coaches how serious he is about being a part of their programs.
"I am going to be going to some camps this summer and my coach has sent out my tape," said Cedric. "I am waiting to see what happens, but I want to go to some camps to show them what I can do."
