Lomax Building Momentum

Scout.com contacted 2011 prospect Jordan Lomax from DeMatha Catholic High School in Hyattsville, MD. The talented WR/DB added his third offer this week and continues to gain interest from college coaches.

Jordan Lomax picked up his third offer earlier in the week when New Mexico offered. Maryland and Pittsburgh had already offered Lomax. Since then Lomax has been contacted by even more schools at the end of this week.

"I had sent my tape to Penn State and now they have asked for my transcript," said Lomax. "I hope that means I may get an offer soon. They are a great football school with a great coaching staff. The academics are good. They have great fan support and student cheering section at the football games too."

Lomax continues to hear from schools around the country. His film mailings have gained interest from coaches at several other schools.

"Like with Penn State, I am in the same situation with West Virginia, Illinois, Marshall and Florida State. I hope to gain offers from a few schools so I can find my best fit."

Lomax has been invited to several junior days and spring games but has nothing scheduled yet.

"I will be going to some campuses here soon but I am not sure where yet. I have spring break and will make some decisions of where and when soon."
