Interest Picking Up

Scout.com first noticed Brandon Chudnoff early in his sophomore year at George Washington High School in Philadelphia and since then he's continued to work hard to build an impressive physique and skill set. He's currently holding one offer and some other schools want to get in the mix as well.

Brandon Chudnoff is a 6-foot-2, 230-pound athlete that is a bit of a ‘tweener at linebacker or defensive end at the college level and right now he's got a good group of schools showing him interest.

"Minnesota just wrote me a handwritten letter, Buffalo has been in touch, Temple stopped by, Boston College came by and Penn State was in as well," Chudnoff said. "I've got my one offer from Villanova, but I haven't picked up any new offers since January."

"I went to North Carolina for junior day and it was really good," Chudnoff explained. "It was phenomenal and I didn't expect that because they're really known for their basketball, but it was really, really good. We took a tour of the facilities and got to watch them practice and then we talked a bit with the defensive line coach, Coach Blake. He's one of those coaches that is definitely close to their players and is a family type of guy and that's important to me. I sent them highlights and they can see me playing a hybrid linebacker/defensive end for them."

"I'm going to go to Temple for their junior day coming up as well," Chudnoff mentioned. "One of the coaches is my neighbor, so I have that connection and I've met the defensive coordinator from going to camp last year, so I know them pretty well. I like it a lot down there because it's close to home and they've been getting a lot better on the field which has caught my eye."

As a junior, Chudnoff had 10 sacks.
