Le'Raven Clark currently holds a laundry list of scholarship offers. Baylor, Houston, Minnesota, Missouri, Oklahoma State, TCU, Texas Tech, Utah, SMU, New Mexico and Louisville have all thrown their hats in the ring in hopes of landing the dominant lineman. Although it is still early in the recruiting process, three schools currently stand out right now.
"I have three top schools right now (in no particular order). Baylor, Texas Tech and TCU," said Clark.
Baylor- "I like their coaches. They have a good program and it's only an hour from my home and my family."
Texas Tech- "I like the new coaching staff a lot. They have a really nice campus and I like the town."
TCU- "It's really close to home for me and I get along real well with the coaches there."
Although the Rockdale lineman really likes what those three schools are saying at the moment, there is a fourth school that could potentially get into the thick of things.
"Oklahoma is coming down to evaluate me this week. They said they might offer if they like me. They would definitely be one of my favorites if they offered me. They are a big-time program with a great history."
Clark plans to take a visit to SMU sometime this spring to meet the coaches and check out the campus. He also plans on attending several camps this summer, although he has yet to schedule any.
As far as making a final decision on his commitment, Clark says that a decision could come sometime this summer.
"I might commit sometime this summer. I still need to think about it with my family and make the right decision."
