Las Vegas (Nev.) Bonanza athlete DaSean Martin (5-10, 190) has had several schools come by the high school in the last couple of weeks.

"Just this week, UNLV came by and they said they were going to evaluate me and in the middle of May, I should know about the offer. Oregon State has been here, so has Arizona, Utah and Nebraska."

Martin holds offers from Northern Arizona and Utah State, but more schools are watching his film closely.

"Arizona and Utah could be the next to offer me, and Oklahoma and Florida just watched my film, plus UCLA, Washington, Nebraska, Missouri, Vanderbilt and Illinois," said Martin.

Martin plays running back and cornerback for Bonanza and said most of his attention is coming at cornerback.

"It really doesn't matter where I play, wherever will get me on the field, I'll play," said Martin.

Martin said USC was his childhood favorite, and he's planning to camp with the Trojans again this summer.

"I was named the number one 2011 DB at the Rising Stars camp last year," said Martin. "Coach Willie Mack Garza is recruiting me for USC."

UCLA is also a place he plans to camp at this summer, and he's been in contact with the Bruins.

"I was at UCLA's Spring Game and met all the coaches and really liked it there. We had a good time and it was all pretty cool," said Martin. "I got to talk with Coach (Rick) Neuheisel a lot."

The Trojans and Bruins head Martin's list.

"My top five schools are USC, UCLA, Arizona, Vanderbilt and then Washington," said Martin. "And I'm looking really closely at UNLV too."

Academically, he has a 2.9 GPA and took the ACT earlier this spring.

Last fall, he ran for 1,306 yards and 17 touchdowns and caught 18 passes for 333 yards and five touchdowns.
