Top QB's at OM Elite Camp

The Rebels are looking to ink two quarterbacks in this year's class and had several good looking candidates that showcased their skills at the OM Elite Camp. To find out who they were, click below.

**Maikhail Miller out of Itawamba AHS was the only quarterback that attended that had been offered, but that should not alarm anyone as only two players who project as a signal caller on the next level have been offered by the Rebels.

The burly 6' 2", 240-pound strong armed quarterback came in with a reputation as having a cannon for an arm and he did not nothing to show that this was not true. He missed the Saturday afternoon session due to a flight delay in the Dallas airport but came in and threw the ball around during the night and Sunday morning sessions. Miller needs to make quicker decisions but has all of the tools to become a solid if not a spectacular player on the next level.

**Everyone remember the name of A.J. McCarron? Yes, the quarterback who Ole Miss fought for until the end before the Mobile resident decided to stick to his commitment with Alabama. Well, there was another quarterback that was being groomed underneath A.J. by the name of Jacob Coker that is pretty good in his own right.

Jacob measured in at 6' 5", 210 and ran a sub 5.0 forty and had an impressive 30 inch vertical. He also showed good quicness as he was timed in a 4.47 in the short shuttle which is normally what you see in defensive backs. This projects well on the next level as you know he has the quickness to evade the pass rush and the height to see over the line.

Jacob took ove the reigns from McCarron last season and had a lot of success during the 2009 campaign. He throws a very good ball and showed accuracy and good enough arm strength to make it on the D1 level. Ole Miss, along with a host of other schools, will be keeping a close eye on his development next fall.

**While Maikhail Miller gets all of the pub out of the Magnolia state; Brookhaven Aca's star quarterback keeps on going quietly about his business. Chandler Rogers was the quarterback for Team Mississippi and helped led the Mississippi squad to the championship. He stands 6' 2", 190 and put up some impressive numbers at the Ole Miss Elite camp as he had a 32.5 inch vertical and a 4.4 short shuttle.

Chandler has great pocket awareness and throws what we term as a very "catchable" ball.

**A player who most project to end up at another position on the next level, Dominique Harris, also had a good day out on the field. A lot of people vision Harris at another position because he is 6' 4", 235 and just has that defensive end look. He is not going to kill you with his legs, but Harris is elusiveness enough to void the pressure and just makes plays out on the field.

**Maybe the player who's stock rose the most was Gardendale's Dallas Tidwell. The 6' 7", 210-pound Alabama resident has a great release and can pin point his passes. It does not hurt that he is 6' 7" and can see over almost any linemen that might be in front of him.

By the end of the day they had Dallas throwing to all of Ole Miss' top targets and we hear he really turned Ole Miss' head.
