Clark Has Cincinnati In Final Six

As the offer list for three-star offensive lineman Donavon Clark continues to grow and the traditional college football powers come calling, Clark still has Cincinnati on his radar.

Not only does Donavon Clark have Cincinnati on his radar, he has them in his top six as the No. 14 rated offensive guard by has cut his list, with the Bearcats making the cut. The other schools that made the cut? Ohio State, USC, Michigan State, Indiana and Tennessee.

Clark, the three-star offensive lineman, did not participate in camp at Cincinnati but was on hand during the three day overnight camps a little more than a week ago to take things in and talk with the UC coaches.

"I hung out with coach (Don) Mahoney all day, I talked with coach (Kerry) Combs," Clark said.

What is Clark hearing from the Cincinnati coaching staff when he talks with them?

"They tell me that they know how they feel about me, that they know I'm a good player. They aren't trying to rush me because they know I'm not trying to rush things. I have a good relationship with the coaches and they like me and aren't trying to rush me."

Clark said that he enjoys the low-pressure approach from the Cincinnati staff as he is still taking things in.

Clark did attend camps at Ohio State and Tennessee this summer and impressed the Ohio State coaching staff to the point where he thinks he may land an offer from the Buckeyes.

"I attended Ohio State's camp. They haven't offered me yet, but after what they saw from me (Saturday), they were very impressed," Clark said. "I should be expecting an offer hopefully."

Clark plans on visiting all of the schools in his top-six at least one more time and will take official visits before making a decision. His current timetable for making a decision is a month or two into his senior season.
