Big Ten Offer for Frazier

Kankakee (Ill.) Bishop McNamara offensive lineman Matt Frazier has camped quite a bit over the summer, and was recently rewarded by landing his first Big Ten offer.

Kankakee (Ill.) Bishop McNamara's Matt Frazier has picked up a nice list of offers so far, but the 6'3, 281-lb guard prospect reached a milestone when he picked up his first one from the Big Ten conference.

"I got an offer from Northwestern," he reported. "We decided to go to the camp on Friday instead of waiting till the July camp. Coach Cushing told me he really wanted to see me in camp that day."

It proved not to the a wasted trip, as the Wildcats liked what they saw.

"After camp, the staff told me that Coach Fitz wanted to see me in his office. My Parents and I sat and talked with him for a while and he offered me a full scholarship."

The timing was impeccable, as it was a week of celebration for the Frazier family that got even more special.

"It was awesome. It actually was my Dad's birthday Friday, my sisters birthday is Saturday and mine is on Sunday, so it was a great gift."
