For some, it takes weeks, months, even years. Daquan Cooper needed all of 24 hours to make his college decision. On Sunday, the Philadelphia-bred wideout received a scholarship offer from the Temple coaching staff. On Monday, he took it.

Cooper is a 5-10, 160-pound two-way athlete at George Washington High School in Northeast Philly. His teammate, Brandon Chudnoff, was the first member of the Class of 2011 to commit to the Owls - just last week. Cooper is verbal number three.

With the Owls having wrapped up their series of one-day camps this past weekend, look for additional commitments to come in rapid-fire sequence this month.
