Crockett Adds Another

Scout.com talked with 2011 prospect Malcolm Crockett from Friendship Collegiate High School in Washington D.C. The three-star running back receives another offer from the Big Ten.

Malcolm Crockett finally hit double-digits with a recent offer from Michigan State. He also continues to have one school on top but wants to make sure of his decision so he will take a few more visits before deciding.

"I have ten offers now," said Crockett. "Michigan State offered me recently. it is another great school in a big time conference so it gives me more to think about."

Besides Michigan State, Crockett also has offers from Rutgers, Cincinnati, Eastern Michigan, Georgia Tech, Michigan, New Mexico, North Carolina State, Temple and West Virginia. There is one school that has risen to the top and another in close second.

"I still have Rutgers on top right now. They are my favorite. I just want to make sure about things. They have a successful program. I like the offense because it is pro-style and is a good fit for me. I think Rutgers will prepare me on and off the field and give me a chance to play in the NFL. My second favorite would be Michigan."

Although Crockett seems to be winding down his process he is still being recruited hard by a couple schools.

"I hear a lot from Virginia and North Carolina. I have plans to visit North Carolina on the 22nd and take a look at them. I may stop by North Carolina State too but I know they have a running back that committed to them already."

Look for Crockett to possibly make a decision as early as the end of July.
