Where could Niles end up?

Thomas Niles is no longer committed to N.C. State because he wants to explore his options. Another offer could be accepted by the defensive tackle very soon.

"I just want to open things back up and look at all of my options," said Thomas Niles Tuesday evening.

He has been committed to North Carolina State for months, but decided he wanted to look at his other options.

Niles claims offers from Arkansas, Florida International, UCF, Middle Tennessee, N.C. State, and Tennessee.

One of those schools appears to high on his list.

UCF had Niles down for camp recently and the Knights made a big impression. He did not go on record stating that they had the lead, but Scout feels that are his top school and that they could receive a commitment from him in the near future.

Niles said, "I liked it down there a lot and I visited the school while I was there for the camp. I do have some interest in them."

He went on to say, "I'm not sure if I will re-commit to another school soon or wait a while. I will have to think about it."

Keep an eye on UCF.
