Florida WR talks top two

Prince Holloway is a standout wide receiver prospect from Cape Coral High and Scout caught up with him to discuss the latest.

Prince Holloway stayed home this summer to focus on his own football workouts. He does have a few official visits in mind, though.

"I stayed home so I could go to all the football work outs. I didn't go to any visits this summer at all. I plan on taking an official visit to West Virginia and possibly Michigan."

Holloway, 5-foot-9 and 160 pounds, talked about those two schools.

"My top colleges are West Virginia and Michigan. West Virginia, I always talk to them, my coaches know the coaching staff at West Virginia real;y good. I get a letter from them almost every day. Michigan, when I first got the offer and I called and always kept in touch with Coach Pryor and Coach Rodriguez."

Holloway, who says he grew up a Miami fan but isn't being recruited by the Canes, claims offers from each of his favorites and a few more.

"I have offers from West Virginia, Michigan, Western Kentucky, and Indiana. I am supposed to have more offers but it takes time to get it through the mail."

Holloway talked about what he's looking for in a school.

"How long a coach is gonna be there, I am looking for a winning program, fans and academics."

The standout receiver, who claims a 2.0 GPA and a 740 SAT score, talked about his goals for this season.

"Winning and going to state. Winning a state championship. Getting over a 1,000 receiving yards, possible over 500 rushing and 3,200 all purpose yards."
