Florida WR: Commit is rock solid

Chris Moore is a talented wide receiver prospect from Jefferson High in Tampa and Scout caught up with him to discuss the latest.

Chris Moore committed to Cincinnati recently and he remains firm in that decision.

"I committed because of everything they had. I was doing a whole bunch of research and everything I found about Cincinnati fit me perfectly. I mean they threw for 4,000 yards last year and they are back to back Big East champions. I liked the campus; I haven't seen many campuses that look like Cincinnati's did. It's kinda silly, but I like how the jerseys look. Also the receivers coach, he coached receivers in the NFL and he even coached a Heisman receiver. He shows that he puts receivers in the NFL."

Moore, 6-foot-1 and 175 pounds, plans on taking his official visit to Cincinnati on September 25th. His commitment is solid.

"Right now it is all Cincinnati. It is pretty strong, I am not going to switch. I got a written offer the other day from Boston College but I'm solid."

The standout receiver, who claims a 3.2 GPA and a 1000 SAT score, talked about his goals for this season.

"It's to win a state championship. Our team is going crazy right now because that is what we are focused on. Everyone is saying that we should win one. Also, to have a 1,000 receiving yards would be good."
