Below is this year's Freshman All-America Team, including the offensive player of the year and defensive player of the year as voted upon by the football experts from around the country.

Offensive Player of the Year: Sammy Watkins, Clemson

Watkins had a memorable freshman season for the Tigers, who won the ACC Championship. Watkins caught 77 passes for 1,153 yards and 11 touchdowns, rushed for 229 yards on 31 carries and returned 26 kickoffs for 683 yards and a touchdown.

Defensive Player of the Year: Jadeveon Clowney, South Carolina

Clowney,'s #1-ranked player in the 2011 class, finished the year with 10 tackles for loss, six sacks and forced five fumbles.
