Instant Impact: Five From the ACC

Scout takes a look at five mid-year enrollees in the ACC who could make an immediate impact...

Derwin James - Florida State
A top 10 prospect nationally on Scout and he is one expected to get on the field early despite FSU's starters returning at safety. He is a game-changer who is ready physically and mentally.

George Campbell - Florida State
Will it all come together for Campbell at FSU? He has so many traits to like as an athlete with size, length, speed, and explosiveness. At times he would lose concentration and focus, so if it all comes together, he will play as a freshman.

Deon Cain - Clemson
The next Sammy Watkins? Even better? Cain is a freak athlete who played quarterback in high school, but he will play in the NFL as a receiver. He still has the learn the position, but he is naturally gifted and when he had the chance to line up at receiver, he made it look easy.

Mitch Hyatt - Clemson
The No. 2 offensive tackle is now working out and training on a college campus instead of playing high school basketball, so it will be interesting to see just how much he improves this spring. He is so athletic, but needed to add weight and strength when leaving high school.

Darian Roseboro - NC State
This is a freshman defensive lineman who could start immediately in Raleigh. Roseboro is a very mature young man, he has really developed physically well over the past couple of years, and he is one the Wolfpack staff is counting on this season.
