Minnesota head coach Jerry Kill broke down the Gophers approach to the football season Friday at Big Ten Football Media Days.
"Were stepping it up a notch, I think if we do well with that schedule then good things are going to happen. People are going to look and be like, hey they played a tough of a schedule as anybody," Kill said.
Kill also made comparisons to another Big Ten team, one that the Gophers have modeled their defense after.
"Michigan State's secondary is the type of secondary that you want. If you can line up the corners and they can play man to man defense, you can do about anything you want," Kill said.
