Tennessee's Butch Jones said WHAT about Georgia football?

Surprisingly, the Tennessee head coach had nothing but good things to say about division opponent Georgia during SEC meetings in Florida.

Tennessee is favored by many to win the Southeastern Conference Eastern Division, but Head Coach Butch Jones isn’t so sure just yet.

Jones was outspoken at the SEC meetings that kicked off Tuesday in Destin, FL. in praising the Volunteers' division competitors -- Georgia, specifically.

“I think Georgia is one of the best teams in our conference and not just on the East side,” said Jones at the SEC Meetings to reporters, “When you look at the competition on our side, it’s going to be a challenge,”

Georgia fell to Tennessee last season in Knoxville 38-31 even after the Bulldogs took a 24-7 lead -- but that was with old head coach Mark Richt.

Georgia’s new head coach Kirby Smart will make his debut between the hedges September 10. He will face off against Butch Jones and Tennessee in Athens on October 1.
