UGA Bred the Most Players in the NFL's Top 100 List

This list just confirms what Dawg fans already knew about UGA's production.

Georgia has trained some of the best talent in college and professional football, and that was confirmed by the NFL's Top 100 list. Georgia greats Todd Gurley (No. 22), A.J. Green (No. 16), Justin Houston (No. 26), Geno Atkins (No. 29), Thomas Davis, and Reshad Jones (No. 64) were all voted into ranks by their peers, making Georgia the school with the most players (six) in the Top 100.

LSU followed with five players: Odell Beckham Jr. (No. 10), Patrick Peterson (No. 18), Tyrann Mathieu (No. 28), Andrew Whitworth (No. 67), and Jarvis Landry (No. 98).

Green is one of the best to have teed it up between Athens' famed hedges and now in the league. The fourth overall pick in the 2011 NFL Draft, Green has 45 career touchdowns, 415 receptions, and 6,171 receiving yards.

Gurley is just one of the many powerful, durable running backs that Georgia has produced. While Gurley suffered a debilitating knee injury his last season with Georgia, in his breakout 2015 rookie season with the Rams he ran for 10 touchdowns and rushed for 1,106 yards.

Houston shows Georgia has defensive chops, too, with his 56 career sacks and 264 tackles since 2011 with the Kansas City Chiefs. Houston's a four-time Pro Bowler. Atkins also holds it down on the line, having racked up 43 sacks and 212 tackles since 2010.

Davis made an appearance with the Carolina Panthers at the Super Bowl this year. Davis has a whopping 833 tackles and 23 sacks.

Jones didn't get picked up in the Draft until the fifth round, but he's proved his worth with his 504 tackles, 36 pass deflections, and Pro Bowl appearance.
