The female, Amelia Molitor, filed a complaint last week citing negligence, willful and wanton misconduct, and intentional infliction of emotional distress, according to the Associated Press.
Mixon allegedly punched Molitor at a restaurant in Norman, Oklahoma. After being charged for the incident in October 2014, Mixon accepted a plea deal for one year of probation. He was also suspended from the team for the duration of the 2014 season. During that time he completed community service and counseling. He returned to the team last season.
No specific damages were cited in the suit, and Mixon’s attorney has not commented.
