Alabama Tops 2016 Preseason Coaches Poll

College football coaches believe that Alabama is still the best team in the country.

According to the USA Today preseason Coaches Poll, last year's top two teams are still at the top for 2016. 

Defending champion Alabama is ranked No. 1, followed by the team they defeated in the championship, Clemson.

Alabama received 55 first-place votes, while Clemson received seven. Florida State and Tennessee were the only other teams to receive first-place votes with one each.

Oklahoma and Michigan State, the other two teams that earned playoff bids last season, ranked third and 11th, respectively.

Florida State and Ohio State rounded out the top five.
