LSU's Leonard Fournette sorry for fight video

The running back responded Thursday to a video TMZ released Wednesday afternoon.

TMZ released a video Wednesday depicting an apparent fight outside Tiger Stadium between LSU running back Leonard Fournette and offensive lineman Garrett Brumfield. The school spoke on the situation, calling the incident nothing more than a game and saying the players hugged once the video cut off.

Fournette addressed the video Thursday, taking to Twitter to apologize for the video and any confusion caused by the situation.

Fournette's apology was similar to the school's comment, calling the incident a game of slap boxing. Whether it was a game or an actual altercation, LSU fans can rest easy knowing no one was injured.

The LSU running back is one of the front runners for the Heisman Trophy entering the season. Fournette rushed for 1,953 yards and 22 touchdowns in his sophomore campaign.
