Tennessee's checkboard end zone painted at Bristol Motor Speedway

No place like home: Bristol beginning to look the part of a Tennessee home game.

Bristol Motor Speedway is looking more and more like Neyland Stadium after workers painted one of the end zones with the classic Tennessee orange and white checkered pattern. The Vols play host there to Virginia Tech on Saturday, though both schools have about the same commute of two hours to the famous Tennessee speedway.

This game features two programs with a rich football history vying to regain their positions in college football's upper class.

The estimated 150,000 people expected to attend this Saturday evening game will be the largest crowd in college football history. Currently The Big House, home of the Michigan Wolverines, holds the record at just over 115,000 in 2013.
