From High School To The NFL: Clemson WR Mike Williams

Scout digs through the archives to bring you the tape, evaluation and recruitment of Clemson wide receiver and NFL hopeful Mike Williams.

High School Analysis:

Williams has the size schools across the country covet. He is long and very athletic, but he still has a lot of room to develop. He can go up and get the football, he could be a real weapon inside the red zone, and he has a high ceiling. To take his game to the next level, he needs to improve his strength, especially upper-body strength. That will help him get off the ball. He needs to improve his route-running also. - Chad Simmons

Many in the recruiting world assumed that Mike Williams would not leave the state of South Carolina for college and they had that confirmed during the summer between his junior and senior season when Williams announce that he was down to South Carolina and Clemson. After visiting both schools in July, Williams set his commitment date for July 31st and it was then when he put on the Tigers hat to commit to Dabo Swinney. Top Stories
