From High School To The NFL: Washington WR John Ross III

Scout digs through the archives to bring you the tape, evaluation and recruitment of Washington wide receiver and NFL hopeful John Ross III.

High School Analysis:

Explosive receiver who could also be an elite cornerback. Great body control and can run well. Needs to get a little bigger, but does a good job of getting separation and getting off jams at the line of scrimmage.

Throughout his recruitment John Ross had told Scout he would pick the school that recruited him the hardest. After taking official visits to UCLA, Oregon, Oregon St and Washington, Ross placed the Huskies and Bruins in his final two. Picking Washington over UCLA, Ross told Scout about the Huskies, "They recruited me harder and I know so many players there. It's funny, even though UCLA is the local school, I know more players at UW than anywhere else.
