He will be free within a framework that enhances his teammates, meshes with the offensive game plan for each opponent and he will play as long as he buys into playing defense on a par with what is expected of him and his teammates. I have no doubts he will flourish within the team and make his mates better just as they will make him better. It is all about the TEAM sir...
Isaiah is definitely the type of athlete that's on par with some of the best in the country. CRT seems to be adding pieces in each recruiting class with the potential to play at a high level. Looking around the rosters in the MW, I think our perimeter players are comparable to the best. If our frontcourt can hold its own, we should have our best season in many years. That's where we're unproven yet, so much depends on how good Braden is. Unfortunately we don't know that yet and won't until we see what he's capable of. I'm optimistic and know that he plays hard but there lies the mystery. I bumped into Alex & Edo earlier this week coming out of the weightroom, Allex says he's up to 210 & much stronger than he was last year & plans on playing at 215 lbs. Edo says that he's improved his shooting. I asked Edo if he's worked on facing the basket & taking his man to the basket off the dribble. He said that he's been working on his ball handling skills and will add that to his game this year. All of the team is supposed to be in town soon & they'll be playing pickup so I'll go see them and let you'll know what I think in the coming weeks.
You misunderstood what I said or maybe I wasn't clear enough. Alex said his goal was to play at 215 lbs, Edo would have to lose 10-15 lbs in order to get down to that weight. He was listed at 226 lbs. last year, I didn't ask him his weight, he's been lifting weights and may be bigger but I don't know that.
I've probably only seen the same video footage that you've seen to date Fig but plan on checking them out soon. I'm looking forward to seeing him play, with the quickness, aggressiveness & athleticism he plays with on those tapes. He should be a very exciting in the open court. I was talking with CRT about him & he said Bailey is a similar player to Watson & a humble person. I have to say coach must screen his recruits pretty well, so far good character guys.
I have seen all video available on Compton hi and Bailey is gonna be a very special player. At this stage he is a better dribbler and more explosive driver to basket than Watson who was MWC freshmen of year.
